Welcome
Having graduated from Plymouth University in 2006, now based at Robins Lane studios in Newport. Emma Passey has refined the making techniques of her work and on the development of her designs.
Predominately producing work using a slip casting method, work is either one off or produced in small batches.
Continuing to try and push the boundaries of how ceramics are perceived and used within today’s society. Either reusing form or imagery features heavily within her work. Which takes inspiration from observations on how certain ceramic items are used within our daily life’s, in particularly tableware used within tea drinking, with a strong interest in Victorian tea ceremonies and wares.
